Privacy, in plain terms

The short version

There are no accounts, no sign-ups and no comments on this site. The calculators run entirely in your browser: the measurements you type never leave your device and are never sent to us. The forms on this site compose an email in your own mail app — nothing is transmitted until you press send in your app.

Hosting and server logs

This site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Like every web host, Cloudflare processes technical information — your IP address, browser type and the pages requested — to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. Those server logs are governed by Cloudflare's own privacy practices as the site's hosting provider.

Fonts

The typefaces on this site (Playfair Display and Jost) are loaded from Google Fonts. Your browser requests the font files directly from Google's servers, which means Google receives your IP address as part of that request, as with any embedded third-party file.

Analytics and cookies

At present this site runs no analytics or advertising scripts and sets no cookies of its own. If analytics or advertising are added in future, this policy will be updated on the same day, before or as they go live.

Email

If you email us — directly or via the contact and report-error forms, which open in your own mail app — we receive your email address and whatever you write. That correspondence is used to answer you and, for error reports, to check and correct the site. It is not sold, rented or added to any marketing list; there is no newsletter.

Children

The kids' size calculator is a tool for adults shopping for children. It asks for a child's height and weight figures only, processes them in your browser like every other calculator here, and collects nothing about any child.

Changes and contact

If the way this site handles data changes, this page changes on the same day. Questions about privacy go through the contact page.
